Not all Viltrumites have the Viltrum Empire symbol on their attire.During Invincible's battle with Rex, Nolan would secure an allegiance with Rex in order to prevent the Viltrumites' extinction, much to Mark's disgust. He then sentenced Thragg to exile as an example to other Viltrumites. Nolan would rule the Viltrum Empire and seeks to change their violent ways. Nolan would be discovered to be Argall's son and be placed on throne, but not before a bloody battle with Thragg. Their new objective would be to replenish their ranks by creating Viltrumite/Human hybrids to save their species. The conquered planets turned to the Coalition after the Viltrumites had abandoned their conquered planets.ĭuring the Viltrumite War, Viltrum was destroyed and the Viltrumites took up residence on Earth, hiding among humans. To combat this, Thaedus founded the Coalition of Planets to combat the Viltrumite threat. Many would accept takeover and other would resist and be killed. Initially, Nolan, a Viltrumite, told his son, Mark that the Viltrumites traveled the galaxy, improving other planets.
After the disarray of Argall's death, Thragg was named the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire and was tasked with finding a successor for Argall.
In order to build a perfect society after the disarray, The survivors of Viltrum Empire rebuilt the civilization from the ashes and began conquering planets for hundreds of years until The Scourge Virus infected them. Desperate and in disarray, the Viltrumites battled each other, killing the weak of the planet.
Argall had been Emperor until his death by Thaedus. The leader of the Viltrum Empire ruled the entire planet. The Viltrum Empire is the faction of the Viltrumites.
